Khazanah Global Scholarship Pogramme - Postgraduate 2014 Details

The Khazanah Global Scholarship is a prestigious award that offers opportunities for bright and high-achieving Malaysians to pursue Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at selected leading universities around the world. In addition, recipients of the Khazanah Global Scholarship are provided with leadership trainings and job attachments at leading organisations in Malaysia.

The trainings, job attachments and exposures, and the facility to gain professional experience at leading corporations in the world represent opportunities that we provide in our quest to nurture our scholars to realise their potential to become Malaysia’s future business and industry leaders.

The duration of the scholarship will be for the full course of study, as stipulated in the offer of admission, subject to Yayasan Khazanah’s terms and conditions.

The scholarship is open to all Malaysians planning to pursue or are currently pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies at top universities in the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia.

Eligibility

General Terms and Conditions

1. Possess strong leadership skills and active participation in extra-curricular, social or voluntary activities
2. Personal Statement
3. A research outline/ thesis summary is required (not applicable for Master by Coursework)
4. Applicants must have a consistent and outstanding academic achievement record as follows:

a)For Master's Degree

• Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (UK and Australia University) or where there is a point system, obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50 for Bachelor's Degree
• Obtained admission to pursue studies at renowned universities (Conditional offer can be considered)
• Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Master's programme
• To provide research outline/ thesis summary (Research or mixed mode)

b) For PhD

• Obtained a distinction or 'A' grade average or equivalent (if there is a point systems) for Master's Degree
• Obtained admission or currently pursuing studies at renowned universities (Conditional offer can be considered)
• Not exceeding 40 years as at the enrolment date for the Doctorate programme
• To provide research outline / thesis summary on the topic they intend to pursue in the Doctorate programme

How To Apply  Khazanah Global Scholarship Pogramme - Postgraduate 2014 ?

Application for Khazanah Scholarship must be made online at Yayasan Khazanah scholarship portal.

Closing Date

The deadline for the  Khazanah Global Scholarship Pogramme - Postgraduate 2014 application is 30 March 2014.

Important Notice

1. All communications will be done via email only (please check your inbox including junk mail).
2. Closing date for the online application is on 30^th March 2014, 11:59pm.
3. If you do not receive any information by 3^rd April 2014, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
4. All applicants (Post-SPM, Undergraduates and Postgraduates) are required to upload a personal statement in pdf format to complete your online application (Title: Why Khazanah Nasional Scholarship is for you and how you can contribute to the good governance practice and leadership development of Malaysia).
5. For postgraduate (research or mixed mode), you are required to upload your research outline or thesis summary to complete your online application.
6. You are not allowed to apply for more than one scholarship programme in every cycle. Yayasan Khazanah has the right to not accept applications if the same applicant applies for more than one programme.
7. All applications must be completed before submission. Required documents must be attached for further processing.
8. You will receive a notification email after you have submitted your online application.
9. To ensure good experience during your online application, you are advised to use the following browsers (up to latest 2 versions of each browsers):
